Another Week In Instagram's!

Hello Ladies! Another Sunday means another week in Instagram's!

On Monday we sorted out most of the Christmas stock at work. I know it's pretty late for most shops but we have only just about got all our stock out for the big day! I thought this tin ornament was really cute!

After work I met Ali to redeem our free cinema vouchers to see In Time ( I do love a bit of Justin) which was very good, a kind of Bonny & Clyde meets Robin Hood! I am also giving the thumbs down to the Twlight popcorn, which I was dragged to see later in the week by my mum because no one would go with her - I had never seen the first ones or read the book so I didn't see what the fuss was about & after watching it I still don't! Luckily the cinema was empty apart from me & her so I could ask her questions such as "why are they outside, it's day time" and "why is him "vampire venom (seriously...) sparkly" and again "why is this high school grad marrying a vampire.. why is that a good idea!" and so on and so on. I know A LOT of people like it but I just had no interest & I still don't!

Tuesday was a dull day, which started at 8.50 with me having a massive filling (I broke half my tooth) at the dentist! Seeing as I still haven't been paid (for the best part of 6 weeks!) I am truly truly skint, so I stayed in and made bee cakes to cheer myself up with! Luckily I FINALLY get paid on Wednesday and I am counting the hours! I can't wait to get all my Christmas shopping done!

And speaking of Christmas shopping, the boy order me OPI Rainbow connection for Christmas, it is SO beautiful! Can't wait to get my hands on this!

Wednesday I was bagging up hundreds of these for the Christmas rush, with white Bon Bon's, Christmas Balls, Sugared Almonds and Flying Saucers! Weigh them out, bag them up, seal them, curl the ribbon, price them and them sticker them! I hope to god people enjoy them!

Whilst food shopping, I came across a product that horrified me so much I had to take a photo! As I don't eat meat (or fish or anything that had eyes) most meat makes me feel a bit grim, but these are something special! They are burgers you cook in the toaster! EWW!! And further more where does the fat go? I assume it clings to the racks ready for your toast the next morning. OH SO VILE.

Thursday was another early start, with me having teeth cleaning at 8.40 am! I know, the dentist twice in one week! But they are all sorted and super clean now! If you haven't had teeth cleaning it hurts a little bits so that fully woke me up! As I went with my Mum we went to do a bit of Christmas shopping after, not before stopping at Goldbrick house for a coffee. We spent the most time in the Guild on park street. The Guild is the most beautiful "Jade" shop ever, stocking Alessi, Cath Kidston, Emma Bridgewater, Fred and Friends, Joseph and Joseph as well as a lovely range of kids toys and yummy food. I have fallen in love with this insanely expensive Emma Bridgewater Cocoa Mug! I know its stupidly expensive, so it has made my Christmas list! If you have never been to the Guild I suggest you go (and take me with you!)

After shopping Mum treated me and her to a haircut. I usually am a bit "Meh whatever" after I have my hair cut, But I really like it! I had more taken off that I normally do but my hair feels so so healthy. It should be the perfect length in time for Christmas which is a bonus!

My sample of Baileys Biscotti came, which I am going to save for Christmas morning!

Friday me & the boy went and got our drink on, which meant that Saturday slipped through my fingers.

Today I have been sorting out the flat, trying to get rid of useless crap and getting round to doing those odd jobs that you have never had time to do, such as putting up the spice rack, almost a year after got it! I realised that we probably should put it up after noticing it was from Habitat which isn't even around any more!

And that has been it! Next week is going to consist of work and going Christmas shopping (I am usually BEYOND organised and it is making me stressed I have had to leave it so late) and trying to hunt down a half decent fake tree, and if we can't I am going to hand my decorations off a stick!

Hope your all having a pleasant Sunday!

A Hot (Cloth) Debate!

Good evening ladies. Hope you are all well! I am feeling sorry for myself tonight after an early morning of painful dentistry work!

Recently I have been trying out 2 hot cloth cleansers & I thought I would share my views on both of them.

I was given this cleanser by Ali after she had a go with it. I am a fan of most things Soap & Glory, and in a usual "I like this brand" way, expected to love it. The cleanser comes with a muslin cloth which you run under a hot top whilst you apply the cleanser, and then when the cloth is nice and hot, wipe it off. My first thought was, "wow, this smells amazing" as it smells almost completely of Lavender. My second thought was that you needed quiet a lot to do your whole face, as you only get 100ml in what I would describe as a toothpaste tube. After I washed it off, although my skin felt a little softer, in all honesty it was the first Soap & Glory product I have come across that I wasn't impressed with. I think that they have better products for the price tag!

My rating: 5/10 - Nice smell but expensive & ineffective.

I picked this up a while a go with a No7 voucher after hearing that hot cloth cleansers were good. At this time it was £9.00 so I only paid £4. As above, it also comes with a muslin cloth. Although it has a very plain smell I was impressed with how it made my skin feel, soft but also very clean. The product comes in a pump top bottle, and I still felt that I needed a fair amount but it did rub in nicely. This product is also a lot cheaper, with 200ml for £10.00, plus there is No7 vouchers around almost weekly so for £5 I think it is worth it!

My rating: 8/10 - Good value & works well but would prefer a nicer smell.

So have any of you ladies tried any other hot cloth cleansers? Maybe you could recommend one with a nice smell?

Another Week In Instagram's

Good evening ladies! Hope you are all enjoying your Sunday!

So another week means another week in Instagram's!

One, Two & Three.
On Monday me & the girlies went for a coffee & a cake at Swinky Sweets on the Gloucester Road. We shared a Kit Kat cupcake, was given a postative message by the cup & admired the decorations.

Four, Five & Six.
After lunch Ali & I thought it rude not to at least do a spot of shopping. Well, window shopping for me as because of when I started my new job I am yet to be paid, and by the time I will be paid it will of been six weeks, so I am truly feeling the pinch! Any ways, Golden Wonder bath bombs are amazing, they make the water the most amazing colours, an amazing T shirt from Topshop & amazing socks from Topshop!
Seven.
Part of the German market in Bristol City Centre. I am not sure what the name for this is, a top heavy windmill? I think it looks pretty at night though!

Eight.
Wednesday is my longest day at work, and every Wednesday I knock up around 10 of these. They look simple yes? Wrong didly wrong! They are utter faff, the box is flat & has to be put together, the sweets need to be weighed, bagged, sealed & find the sticker for them, I need to find every single sweet that needs to go in, then put the box in a plastic bag, seal it and then shrink it with a hot air gun.  Oh, and sever customers as I am the only person there bar 1 hour at lunch when we get the largest delivery. They are literally the most aggravating item we sell, and also one of the most popular! This is one full made one!

Nine.
I tried the special Frijj sticky toffee pudding milkshake this week. If I am honest I give it a 4/10, the taste is almost exactly the same as the Simpsons Fudge flavour, and it costs 60p more!

Ten & Eleven.
Thursday I stayed in due to the extreme lack of funds! That was a shame as it seemed a fairly nice day! I always enjoy the view of the tree but sadly it will be its last winter, as the council is cutting it down. Geesh it destroys one bus and people start cutting down trees! I know it needs to go but still, I do enjoy looking at it! This is my favourite cup from Paperchase, I do enjoy faces on things, but it also around the same size as a bowl!

Twelve & Thirteen.
Ali came round to relieve me from the crippling boredom and she brought a gingerbread train! We had lots of fun making it & the boy certainly enjoyed eating it!

Fourteen & Fifteen.
Friday was one of those day that you vaguely do nothing all day! Hiding from the cold with Totoro & managed to do a small bit of cleaning & I sorted out my jewellery table.

Sixteen & Seventeen.
Yesterday I managed to make an apple crumble that didn't taste terrible, I am so proud! And from one kind of apples to another, tried Innocent apple juice and I was very impressed, it's kind of like Copella apple juice for those of you that have had it!

And that's it, a fair amount of photos yet I feel like I have done very little this week!

Hope you are all having a good Sunday!

An Early Christmas List!

Good evening ladies, hope you are all well this evening!

Tonight I thought I would share with you my little Christmas list. Christmas list's are a new thing for me, having grown up in a no list household, but my Boyfriend is a little bit terrible at buying gifts! His heart is in the right place, but after years of books on Vivisection for Valentines day and things along those lines we decided lists were probably the way to go. I also found that his family are also a great fan of a list. This list is fairly short so if any one has any suggestions, please let me know!

1. Lush Snow Fairy Gift Set £10.95
Christmas without snow fairy for me is what meat eaters feel about turkey. It's just not Christmas without it. I love this gift set as there is no bath items in it, which is perfect as I don't have a bath!

I have had my eyes on this for ages but I have never got round to buying, but as I am a sucker for all things animal I really like it!

Love these headphones! I am in dire need of some new headphones as my iPhone ones have gone incredibly tinny & makes everything sound dreadful! They also have other styles but these are my favez.

How cute are these? I love these!

Ok, this hasn't really made my list, but how fun would this be to play on Christmas day!

And that's it! Apart from the Tatty Devine fox necklace this is it. I personally think this is a realistic list as it is frugal times for every one!

So have you made a list this year? If so what has made your list?

Another Week In Instagram's

Hello ladies! Hope you are all having a suitably lazy or fun Sunday!

So another week, another set of Instagram's!

This week I have been eating Ben & Jerry's Fossil Fuel! An old flavour which has been brought back! It is a beautiful thing!

This week I have also been writing out my Christmas cards! Yes, yes I know its November but although I love Christmas I find writing out endless amounts of cards completely tedious & I like to get them done as soon as possible. I have been punch stamping a moose / reindeer on to the envelopes! These are the cards, I picked them up last year in the Paperchase sale for 10p a box at the end of January.

Monday was utterly freezing, real wintery weather! I was absolutely freezing at the shop & when I was walking to the bus stop I saw this, a tree wearing a jumper! It is part of the Bristol graffiti seen throughout the city centre. I am pretty sure that tree was warmer than I was!

Friday I went to Ikea with my friend who is slowly buying stuff for the future house (she's hoping to look next year) although I like looking in Ikea I do find it fairly tiring after a while so I gave myself a sweet treat at the end! We also went to the retail park behind Ikea and I can never resist a look at the  animals in Pets At Home! These gold fish were well pretty!

I have been lusting after this jumper from Topshop this week. I do love a good stripe! I already own a lot of blue and navy, so red is obvz completely different!

But the jumper will have to wait as this week I have fully started my Christmas shopping. Saw this cute little chocolate filled bear purse in Marks & Spencer whilst shopping on Saturday. I did get a couple of other stocking fillers but he did get left behind as at £4 I thought it was a bit steep seeing as there was about 5 chocolates inside!

Whilst shopping we found out that a German Christmas Market had been set up between the Galleries & Cabot Circus (the two shopping centres in town) including this giant Advent calendar which will be opened every day (1st - 22nd) by Father Christmas at 4pm which I think is a really cute idea for kids!

Feeling all Christmassy after our walk through the German Market, we headed to Krispy Kremes to get a Khristmas Kreme (see what I did there). I got the Christmas Tree & Ali had the Snowman. Both completely adorable! I do love seasonal doughnuts!

Last night I had to go to an Ann Summers party. An old friend of mine has become an Ann Summers party rep to earn more money, so I went to support her. As her Mum is my Mum's best friend my Mum was also there. If you have been to one you know what they are about, if not it's pretty much exactly what you expect with some "naughty" games thrown in, such as a rude word search (I'm not sure I am going to forget my mum shouting " I found Dildo" in a hurry). As this was only her second party it was quiet relaxed & she had commissioned one of her friends to make these penis cupcakes (when I asked her if they were good, she said "yeah, it's got squeezy balls!"). It was a success for her and she did makes some sales, I brought a nice bra I had seen in the shop a couple of days before!

So that has been it! Hope you have all had a good week!
